[Wii] Ghost Squad

Ghost Squad

Minimum Players 1 Maximum Players 4 (Oh Yes!)

Type of Player To Accommodate: TimeCrisis Shooter Style

Straight up… I’m biased. I’ve been playing Ghost Squad in the Arcades of Bowling alleys everywhere for about 3 years easy… I even have my own ID card from the Game makers (had to drive to London to get one!) And I’ve saved my Arcade adventures onto this card and unlocked all sorts!

Now – back to the Wii version.

Its exactly the same! (Phew!). You level up your Ghost Squad member, and with promotion brings new outfits and guns. Exactly what you want when you’re promoted! Bigger better guns!

They’ve added a party mode which allows 4 players – awesome! And when you complete the main game – you unlock stuff for your Party mode. I’ve already played Ninja mode – where you guns have been replaced with Infinite Ninja Stars – lush!

It’s a great game – with loads of different angles to take and paths to choose. It adds actions as well as the normal shooting style, like diffusing bombs, hand to hand combat and the classic Snipe Mode.

It’s a great laugh, solo mode can get boring (come on – I have been playing it for 3 years) but 2 players mode is awesome – its fun and you get into character quite easy too!

I played this with the ‘Wii Zapper’ add on – makes the shooting better and more realistic – but I’m told playing only with the Remote is still cool – making the aiming easier. But I recommend getting some sort of ‘gun’ device for the Remote to make it more ‘realistic’ But ensure you don’t buy the ‘Big Blaster’ or any other gun adapter that doesn’t encompass the B button as the trigger (the Big Blaster makes the nunchuk button (Z) the trigger – which isn’t a supported mode in MOST shooting games)

Ensure the B button is the trigger in any of these guns.

Back to the game – Top purchase! Top Game! Loads of fun! Make Field Marshal in no time!
