Ill admit. I bought this on pure ‘box design’ It looked old skool manga TV awesomeness.

How wrong! It’s the most basic kiddy button musher ever. Yes, yes, yes, they have integrated the Wii Remote play into this quite well (with a sword and blasters and what not) but having to switch between players to utilise their weapons is silly. You could have made one character with a sweet arsenal – but no – got to keep it like the show – which I assume has lots of characters.

Another silly thing (its only small but playing for an hour or so really grates) – but the voices. I know it’s a childs show, but the voice actors have REALLY annoying voices – it does my head in. And you can skip the speech either – you can’t skip one person to the next part of the conversation – its just listen in FULL or skip the whole thing. Lame.

The game play itself is boring – and far too straight forward – so I assume its basically for kids who have a Wii! Too basic, too boring, too slow, too kiddy. And I’m not talking – sweet for the 10 year old inside us. I mean serious. You either need to love this show – or have a 6 year old who can be trusted to play such a blessed piece of equipment such as the Wii.

Save the pennies kids. Go buy Pick and Mix instead or something. Or throw the money out the car next time you’re in it and its moving. Fun for all the family that would be!
