I’m not a fan of Keith Chegwin. Since his days on Big Brother, waking people up at ‘crazy’ o’clock to give them a massive cheque (its got to have at least 6 zeros to get me up early!), but I do enjoy this game.

His voice is grating – and I think they may have given him creative control of the catchphrases – because most of them are annoying and not related to the setting, mode or question type you are about to play.

But regardless. It’s a good little quiz with lots of up to date questions and different format in which they are answered. The ‘Channel Hopping’ round is stupid – you answer the question – see what everyone has put – then get the chance to answer the question. I haven’t played it and not had everyone get MAX points on that round. Its silly. Its redundant in any quiz!

But little things on this make it good – you get to have your own buzzer noise so when you buzz the speaker in the Remote makes a cackle, a fart, a cockerel or all sorts of noises (you get to pick). The graphics at the end of the round and the end of the game are rubbish and ‘tres’ basic, but mid game and ‘start of round’ graphics make up a little for this.

At some points it looks cheap – the quirks build it back up again – but bottom line it’s a straight up quiz based around Movies, Music and Celebrity. No other subjects – just the Showbiz world!

But I’m good at Showbiz – so I’m ALL good with this
