Now there are a LOT of rubbish games.. that either take no skill… or are so tediously boring… I’ve used the discs for coasters (gawd bless ’Fruit Fall’). These games listed below are so pants, that I can’t bring myself to describe them in detail.
I’ve put in brackets the amount of max players you can do…
Super Paper Mario (1)– a 1980’s 2D game becomes 3D. That’s all that has changed. Same sort of jump on top of stuff to kill them. But in 3D. Well worth £40… hmmm
Fruitfall (1) – twist the screen to make the ‘fruits fall’ This game uses 2 buttons. Left and right on the D-Pad. About 40 seconds of entertainment for your hard earned cash! First class coasters though!
Spiderman 3 (1) – possibly the worst graphics I’ve ever seen. The most tedious – “jab ‘A’ all day and win” gameplay that takes all the skill out of what should have been a blockbuster of a game to accompany a block buster of a movie!
Monster Truck Excite (2) – hold the wii remote sideways – and try not to move it! Keep it straight and hold down accelerate. That’s all you do – all day! L
Red Steel (1) – the ‘actual’ launch game that was the first to grace the shelves. Rubbish graphics, boring story, unreal control system – very boring – very hard at points – then slips straight back into – unrealistic easy-ness!
Wii Play (4) – plenty of mini games to entertain you…. Only if you’ve never played a console before and you’re interested in games that look like they would have only sold well on a Spectrum! Rubbish bumf only to promote the sales of extra Wii Remotes (obviously – you may actually get hooked and love this game!)
Cooking Mama (2) – designed for kids and unfortunately only just hits the mark for infants. Bought this game to entertain 10 year olds – they lost interest in 6 minutes flat!
Metroid Prime Zero (1) – not sure of the name – but I think its Metroid Prime Zero – its Metroid Prime something… but doesn’t matter what you call it. Its pants! Walk around really slow in a poorly graphic’ed world surrounded by enemies that are about as challenging as folding a newspaper! And still priced at top dollar in most stores!
MySims (1) – I looked forward this so much as a old PC Sims lover. But this game with its annoying squealing (rather then the good old fashion Sims style ‘mutter’ noises) is rubbish. You have to build EVERYTHING – don’t just pick a house, and do some wallpapering. You have to build each chair (taking around 8 pieces to do) and trying to aim the remote to put them in the right place is impossible. Needless to say – to get these pieces to build the stuff with… you have to grow tree’s and dig for treasure first. Outrageously rubbish!

Fruitfall is rubbish! Its not even addictive! They tried to hard and ended up with a sad excuse for a game.
Hi, I, like you, am a WordPress user that has had a current interest in the future of the Nintendo Wii. I currently have a family member that is interested in WiiFit for the U.S. release and I was wondering if you had any information on it (release date, price, etc.). To reply, please leave a comment on any of my posts on my WordPress blog at rileyf.wordpress.com. Thank you for reading this and I’m anxiously awaiting your reply.
